A colourful, rhythm-driven concert
Canadian guitarist Tim Beattie and the Voluta Quartet (based in Manchester) will play Luigi Boccherini's Guitar Quintet No. 4 in D Major ‘Fandango’ and Aaron Jay Kernis’ ‘100 Greatest Dance Hits’, among other pieces. To quote Tim, this promises to be ‘a colourful, rhythm-driven concert exploring the meeting point of classical elegance and visceral groove'.
