What’s on this 2026-27 season

Led by Roberto Ruisi, the Hallé Chamber Quartet is a flexible group made up of members of Manchester’s Hallé Orchestra. Since joining the orchestra as Leader in 2022, Roberto has led the group in music from Dowland to Thomas Adès, and has forged close relationships with the orchestra’s Composers in Residence. This concert, presented in association with St Mary Magdalene, Bridgnorth, will focus on Haydn’s masterful Seven Last Words, which he adapted for string quartet in 1787. The movements will be interpolated with verses by British poet Ruth Padel.

They will also be performing the same concert at St Alkmund’s Church, Whitchurch, at 7.00pm on Thursday, 18th March.
